‘Don’t Be a Risk Taker!’: Driver Rescued After Going Around Cones on Flooded North Sacramento Road

SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Fire Department rescue crews are, again, reminding drivers not to attempt driving through flooded roadways after a rescue Wednesday morning.


Around 7 a.m., a man drove around cones on Northgate Boulevard and became stranded in flood waters near Hwy 160.

Sac Fire crews responded and rescued the driver. He survived the ordeal with no injuries.
