WINTERS — Two hot air balloons made emergency landings Friday morning on a highway shoulder in Winters, police say.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the intended landing area was a nearby field but the wind pushed the balloons onto Interstate 505 just south of Highway 128.

There were no reported injuries.

This is a developing story.
