‘Security Incident’ Reported at Travis Air Force Base Found to Be False Alarm

FAIRFIELD — Wednesday morning, authorities at Travis Air Force Base released a statement about a “possible real world security incident.”

The incident turned out to be a false alarm .

There were reports of potential gun shots near the Supply Warehouse, which caused a response by authorities.

Travis Air Force Base is currently undergoing a two-day exercise to test and train Airmen on their ability to respond to emergency incidents.
