Claudette Stefanian is a general assignment reporter for FOX40 News. She joined the team in January 2022, excited to be reporting in the state’s capital.
Stefanian has worked as a television news reporter up and down the state of California for the past several years. Previously, she has reported for NBC 7 in San Diego, joining the team just before the pandemic spiraled out of control.
Prior to landing in San Diego, Stefanian had a stop in Fresno at KFSN and has worked as a general assignment reporter for KBAK in Bakersfield. There, she was frequently pulled to cover breaking news in California as a national correspondent, going live every few minutes for different sister stations across the country. She has covered numerous breaking news stories in the state, including wall-to-wall coverage on the historic Carr Fire and the tragic mass shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks. Stefanian has also dabbled in radio reporting and anchoring for KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles.
Stefanian attended the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with a degree in rhetoric. She also attended the University of Southern California, receiving a master’s degree in journalism. She is proud of her Armenian heritage and calls Glendale home. Nothing makes her happier than connecting with community members.
