  • Sacramento PD Searching for Armed Suspect After Drive-By Shooting in Natomas

    SACRAMENTO — The Sacramento Police Department is searching for an armed suspect after a shooting in Natomas Saturday afternoon. The drive-by shooting happened around 1:10 p.m. along the intersection of Natomas Boulevard and North Park Drive, next to North Natomas Regional Park. Authorities are still searching for the car they believe the shots were fired from. One victim was transported to a nearby hospital. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.     OROVILLE — The Department of Water Resources announced Friday that the Hyatt Power Plant at the Oroville Dam is now operational once again. The power house began working at 10 a.m. Friday, taking in and sending out water at 1,700 cubic feet per second. The ultimate goal of 14,000 cfs would roughly meet the flows into the dam.      ROCKLIN — A home burglary suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Rocklin. The shooting happened off of Wyckford Blvd. in the 4900 block of Bradford Place.
