    SACRAMENTO– There were some strange circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting that happened Friday afternoon in South Sacramento. New details released by the CHP tell the story of what unfolded as two of their officers were removing an illegal homeless camp near Highway 99.     FOLSOM- A firefighter and paramedic with the City of Folsom is in critical condition Wednesday evening at Sutter Roseville Hospital, but not for an on-the-job related accident. Eric Williams was out running Tuesday morning on a trail near Folsom Lake Crossing when he was struck from behind by a bicyclist.   • Roseville Star Student-Athlete Arrested in Oregon for Murder

    ROSEVILLE – A former football and baseball star at Roseville High School was arraigned Thursday on a murder charge in Salem, Oregon. 22-year-old Beau Smith, who is a senior at Willamette University and a member of the football team there, is being held without bail and is accused of killing 66 year old Michael Hampshire.
