    SACRAMENTO — After several days on the run, a male suspect was arrested Friday in connection to the murder of his girlfriend in Yuba County, according to Sacramento Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Turnbull. Jonnyrae Witt, 25, was wanted for the Nov. 22  murder of his girlfriend 31-year-old Leslie Cramblit near the town of Rackerby in Yuba County.     Sacramento County Jail Inmate Dies After Being Found Unconscious in Cell

    SACRAMENTO — A female inmate at the Sacramento County Main Jail died Sunday morning after being found unconscious in her cell, officials said. The 48-year-old woman was found unresponsive around 8 a.m. during the pill call rounds, Deputy Tony Turnbull said in a news release. Medical personnel immediately responded and attempted life saving measures. She was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
