From graduation celebrations to prom night and the excitement of college acceptances or college diplomas, the Class of 2020 quickly transitioned from experiencing once in a lifetime excitement and fun to uncertainty and sadness.

Graduating class of 2020 at Laguna Creek High School is, Jade Do, whom is a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, scholar athlete, track captain, and IB student. She has committed to UCLA next fall, majoring in Human Biology and following the Pre-health/Pre-med program. 
Laguna Creek High School Marching Band – Oh the places we saw and the competitions we won. This is our family’s focus for 2020 and THANK YOU to the teachers, students, and families who made this an amazing year!! 
Asa Deitchman (A-suh Dych-min) At age 17 he is the Second generation and 5th one in his family to attend and graduate from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs. He’s the 3rd child out of 5 kids in his family. This is his fourth year where he has wrestled and lettered on the Ponderosa High school Bruins Varsity wrestling team. He will be attending FLC for two years then transferring to a University where he plans on graduating with a Criminal justice Degree.

Lily Bradley is graduating from Rosemont High School. She lettered in music while enjoying marching band, concert band, and winter guard. She has served many years giving to our community through 13 years of girl scouts. She plans on attending college, majoring in Deaf Studies with a focus on American Sign Language. She has a goal to become an American Sign Language Interpreter.

Ashlyn was a scholar athlete, playing volleyball for one year and playing basketball all 4 years at MHS! During her senior year at MHS, Ashlyn took early childhood development, where she realized she loved working with her preschool and TK classes. Ashlyn has been accepted into the University of Southern Oregon, where she will study early childhood development and pursue a career in teaching! Ashlyn is a sweet, kind hearted, helpful, loving young woman! She has a never give up, get it done attitude! She is an amazing person inside and out! We are so very proud of you!

Congratulations to Makayla Anderson who is graduating from Natomas High School with honors and a Biliteracy Certification and Medal. Makayla was also the Captain of the Nighthawk Varsity Cheer Squad and a member of the Varsity Track & Field Team. Makayla qualified for and enlisted in the United States Navy in a difficult and highly coveted rating as a Cryptology Technician Interpretive (CTI) early during her senior year at the age of 17. She not only scored exceptionally well on her Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), but also passed the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) with the highest qualification. Richard “Ricky” Stephens graduated from Oak ridge High School on 2008. He received his associates education at Folsom Lake college and his under grad education at the University of Davis California. Ricky was accepted in the Doctor of Osteopathic “DO” Medicine program at Western University in Pomona. He was elected as the class president and served that position for the medical students for the last four years. He has been accepted to do his residency at Saint Josephs Hospital in Denver, Co. He will be doing internal medicine with the aspirations of getting a fellowship in cardiology. He will be no doubt on the front lines of the Covid-19 epidemic. His Graduation was set for Friday May 15, 2020 at 10am. We will be holding a mock ceremony with very limited family in the morning and his graduation and the swearing in with the oath is being done live on youtube on the attached link.
