Christianne is in the studio chatting with Dr. Wayne Riley, President of the American College of Physicians, via satellite about the correlation between climate change and health. With the spread of the Zika Virus and other insect borne diseases causing global concern, the effect of climate change on public health is becoming a top issue. According to the American College of Physicians in a new policy paper to be released on April 19th, climate change will have devastating consequences for public and individual health unless aggressive, global action is taken now to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
