(KTXL) — The Center for Disease Control said that there have been more than 7,000 cases of monkeypox since the outbreak started earlier this year.

Sonseeahray Tonsall spoke with Jorge Reyes Salinas from Equality California about the stigma associated with the disease and the government’s response to the outbreak.
