Mae is sitting down with Catherine O’Brien from talking about maternal mental health. May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month and today is World Maternal Mental Health Day. As  many as 1 in 5 women will experience a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder (PMAD) which includes depression, anxiety, OCD, etc, during pregnancy and up to 1 year postpartum.

It’s so important for moms and their partners to have support after a baby. It’s also really important for her self-care. O’Brien often talk to her clients about finding little ways for self-care.
