The author “Weed Land: Inside America’s Marijuana Epicenter and How Pot Went Legit,” Peter Hecht, also a Sac Bee Reporter joins Christianne in the newsroom to talk a bit about how the outlook on marijuana is changing and why. His book follows the marijuana movement from its early days in the as and illegal drug to its legalization Hecht will also be hosting a lecture, “From Compassion to Commerce: How Pot Went Legit,” at Sacramento State October 8.
