Political science lecturer discusses impact of recall election ballot case


Governor Gavin Newsom’s lawyers made a mistake and neglected to list his Democratic Party affiliation on paperwork for the upcoming recall election.

Now, Newsom has sued his own secretary of state to put that information on the election ballot.

Dr. Isaac Hale, a postdoctoral scholar at UC Santa Barbara’s Blum Center, joined Mae to discuss the case and what’s to come.
