Sacramento County Registrar’s Office explains why some ballot envelopes have holes in them


Some California ballot envelopes have holes that could expose a voter’s answer to one of the questions on the recall ballot.

This is not the case for every county, just in those that use certain processing equipment and had ballots printed in a certain way.

Janna Haynes with the Sacramento County Registrars Office joined Martina to explain why voters shouldn’t be concerned and share additional steps voters can take to conceal their answers.
