FOOTHILL FARMS — Sacramento County sheriffs have arrested the suspect in a shooting that left one person dead and two people injured.

Kejhonne Henderson, 18, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon on two additional victims of the shooting.

Friday night, just before midnight, authorities received a call for a shooting near 4400 Greenholme Drive. Sheriff’s say there was a house party in the area.

At the scene they found 17-year-old Jordan Pannell with gunshot wounds to the upper body and a 36-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the lower body.

Pannell was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound.

A third victim, a 19-year-old male, showed up to a hospital with gunshot wounds to the lower body. He is expected to survive.

Detectives believe an argument earlier in the night may have led to the shooting.

Henderson is being held at the Sacramento County Jail without bail.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
