SACRAMENTO-

The American Civil Liberties Union is telling the Sacramento International Airport to stop censoring billboard ads from the California Endowment.

The ads, according to the ACLU, feature people who are in the country illegally, facts about undocumented immigrants and the hashtag “#Health4All.”

The group claims the airport shut down the ads for being “too political,” which the ACLU adds is a violation of free speech.

Sacramento International said the ad was declined because it did not meet the airport’s advertising policy, particularly how no ad involving “controversial, social, moral, political or ethical issues” will be displayed.
