Bus Rider Gets $1,050 Fine Reduced

A Stockton man that was fined $1,050 for not having a current bus ticket appeared in court Thursday to have his fine reduced.

Richard Sentz was given two options: he could have pleaded not guilty, which would have led the case to trial. Had the case gone to trial, Sentz would have likely had to pay the entire $1,050 fine along with court fees.

Instead, Sentz pleaded no contest. He opted to pay his new fine, which was reduced $275, in installments.
