Crews Battling 1,500-Acre Wildfire in Reno; 50-75 Homes Impacted

RENO — Fire crews near Reno are battling a large wildfire in Reno.

The fire was reported around 3 p.m. Saturday.

By 8:30 p.m. Saturday, the Long Valley Fire had grown to 1,500 acres and 0% containment.

At least 50-75 homes have been impacted by the wildfire and evacuations have been ordered.

Evacuations and Road Closures include:

  • Rodeo Drive in the Red Rock Region
  • North Red Rock Rock Road
