A train carrying corn derailed early Tuesday morning in the Feather River Canyon.

Several of the 12 grain cars tumbled down into the canyon. No animals or humans were reported to have been hurt.

Trains are being rerouted around the canyon while crews clean up the considerable mess, Union Pacific said in an email to FOX40.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
