RIO VISTA-
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing couple.
A boat belonging to Van and Chantra Chanpenxi was found unattended by the Coast Guard near the Rio Vista Bridge Thursday.
Investigators say the Chanpenxis have not contacted or been seen by family since.
Van Chanpenxi, 64, is described as a Laotian man standing at 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 155 pounds. He is bald, clean shaven and wears glasses.
Chantra Chanpenxi, 54, is described as a Laotian woman standing at 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She is known to have brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about the Chanpenxis’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
