SACRAMENTO –
A line of thunderstorms, slowly moving northeast through the San Joaquin and Sacramento Valleys, will continue to light up the sky during the overnight hours of Easter morning. These storms are delivering brief periods of heavy rain and, in some cases, hail.
The thunderstorms will likely taper off to scattered showers during the daylight hours of Easter morning, but may re-develop during the afternoon.
Sierra snow levels will mostly stay above 6,500 feet with this weather system.
