Elk Grove Police Investigating Bank Robbery on Elk Grove Florin Road

ELK GROVE — The Elk Grove Police Department is investigating a robbery at a Chase Bank on Elk Grove Florin Road.

According to officials, the suspect, who is described as a white male in his 30s, walked in the Chase Bank at Elk Grove Florin Road and Calvine Road, passed the teller a note and fled the scene. No weapon was seen, police said.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect had a full beard and was wearing a blue beanie and a grey sweater and pants.

This is the third bank robbery in the Elk Grove area within this past week. On May 2, a US Bank was robbed, and the suspect was caught. On May 6, a California Community Credit Union was robbed, but the suspect, whose description is not the same as today’s, remains on the loose.
