PALO ALTO — Instagram announced Wednesday that users on iOS will be able to zoom in on photos posted to the popular social network.

The platform has added several other new features recently, including the ability to save posts as drafts and “Stories,” which allows users to create Snapchat-like slideshows with photos and video.

Instagram said the update would come Wednesday, but did not give a specific time. An update earlier Wednesday offered a low-light feature for Stories.
