TRACY —
An armored vehicle caught fire in a Home Depot parking lot on Monday afternoon, according to the Tracy Police Department.
Authorities were notified of the vehicle fire at 2461 Naglee Road about 2:40 p.m. The vehicle fire was threatening the Home Depot. The Home Depot was evacuated during the fire as a precaution.
Two fire units quickly extinguished the blaze, bringing it under control within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and investigators on the scene did not see any signs of foul play.
An undisclosed amount of money was destroyed. The vehicle, which is valued at $150,000, is considered a complete loss.
