Arson investigators have been called to the scene of a fire near a Sacramento County elementary school.

According to Sacramento Metro Fire, crews were called to Dudley Elementary School a little after 2:30 p.m. for a reported fire.

Initial reports indicated that a portable bathroom was on fire.

At the scene, crews found that the Antelope Little League snack bar shed was also on fire.

Crews had the fire knocked down by 2:55 p.m. Investigators later determined that the fire was originally set in the portable bathroom and spread to the snack bar.

Metro Fire says that while the snack bar structure suffered extensive damage, crews were able to save some of contents. The fire caused about $20,000 in damage.
