CHICO — Butte County officials report around 20 to 30 people are presenting symptoms that could indicate a possible norovirus outbreak at an evacuation center.

The outbreak was reported at the American Red Cross shelter at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds on 2357 Fair St.
According to the American Red Cross shelter listings the center was housing 140 people.
