SACRAMENTO-

Witnesses say two cars collided in the intersection of Q and 15th street in midtown Sacramento.

The crash caused one of the cars to spin out, heading toward the Naked Lounge coffee shop. The car hopped the curb and struck a light pole, witnesses say.

The light pole came crashing down also with in feet of several diners, including one who is six months pregnant. The pole also narrowly missed a man sitting in his car outside of the coffee shop.

Passengers inside the car that hopped the curb sustained some injuries. Witnesses say the passenger might have broken her leg. The other two people in the other cars had minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation. A temporary light pole has been set up at the intersection to try and reduce any further accidents until a permanent one can be put back.
