The driver was taken to the hospital after a complaint of pain, police said.
The store was closed at the time, and no other injuries were reported.
"Fortunately, that store was closed and no one was inside because we have all heard those tragic stories where vehicles go into a store or a restaurant," said Officer Joseph Silva with the Stockton Police Department. "Some people do get severely injured or even killed. That didn’t happen in this case."
Police said the driver, 36, may have accidentally accelerated when trying to park.
"That driver would be facing some type of liability with the business since it does look like it is just an accident, but there will be liability between her and the business," Silva said.
One of the owners said that they will try and reopen as soon as possible and they were glad no one was hurt.
