Conflicting Information Leaves Deputies With No Potential Suspects in South Sacramento Shooting

SOUTH SACRAMENTO-

Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a shooting at a home on  Sandrock Drive near Ewing Way around 1:30a.m. on Friday.

When deputies arrived to the scene, they found a man who was shot in the leg.

The victim was immediately transported to the hospital, and is expected to fully recover.

When speaking to neighbors, deputies said they received conflicting information about how many suspects fled the scene.

During the preliminary stages of the investigation, deputies learned there could be one to three suspects responsible.

However, they have no clear leads of who the suspect or suspects responsible may be, or a possible motive for the shooting.

Deputies said the situation appeared to be some type of disturbance or dispute, but are unclear of the exact details at this time.

The Sheriff's Department is continuing their investigation of this incident.
