ROSEVILLE-

Investigators think there are more victims of a former San Juan Unified School District teacher.

Robert Kill was arrested last fall on suspicion of producing and possessing child pornography, among other charges.

During the investigation, Roseville Police discovered evidence that Kill may have recorded other underage girls.

He taught in the San Juan district from 1979 until his retirement in 2011. He taught at five schools: Woodside, Barrett Middle School, Orangevale Open, Kenneth, and Oakview Community Elementary School.

Detectives say they are concerned there could be additional victims of Kill, including students.

Last month he was released on a $1 million bail pending further court appearances on the original charges.

The San Juan Unified School District posted a statement on their website that reads, in part, “The Roseville Police Department is requesting assistance from San Juan Unified families, current students or alumni who may have information about former teacher Robert Alan Kill. … Creating a safe and secure environment for our students is our top priority, and the District is fully assisting Roseville police in their investigation.”

Anyone with information about possible victims in this case is asked to call police at (916) 774-5072.
