ANTELOPE-

The cousin of two twin brothers arrested after a deadly high speed pursuit spoke with FOX40 Wednesday afternoon about Roman and Ruslan Glukhoy.

Family says the now 19-year-old twins excelled in high school, particularly on the wrestling team.

But the two are said to have developed a dependency on pain medication after a bus accident.

Cousin Audrey Glukhoy says he believes drugs are the reason Wednesday morning’s stolen car pursuit happened.

The twins are accused of slamming into a car during the chase, killing two people.

“I know this is a great loss for the (victims’) family, and we’re sorry for what happened,” Audrey Glukhoy said.
