Police: Man, 59, Arrested in Series of Sexual Assaults in Library Bathroom

DAVIS -- A man was arrested Saturday after a teen boy reported that he was sexually assaulted in a library bathroom several times over a several week period, Davis Police said Saturday.

The incidents are said to have occurred at the Davis branch of the Yolo County Library at 315 East 14th Street, with the last contact happening several weeks ago. Police began an investigation using surveillance at the library in attempts to identify the suspect.

Dennis Lee Azevedo, 59, was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail Saturday on charges of both oral sex and sodomy with a minor.

It is unknown at this time if there are other victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Davis Police at (530) 747-5400.
