Dawnté Early, the president and CEO of the United Way California Capital Region, joined Sonseeahray to share her plan to help reduce poverty in the region as the organization’s newest leader.

In September, Early became the first African American elected to the West Sacramento City Council for an abbreviated term. She also shared how her United Way job aligns with the city council role.
