Deputies: Detectives investigate murder-suicide Granite Bay

The latest on a homicide investigation in Granite Bay at 9:30 a.m.: The Placer County Sheriff’s Office tweeted Monday morning that the homicide under investigation in Granite Bay was a murder-suicide.

Detectives say 43-year-old Timothy Delgado, a federal prosecutor, fatally shot his wife, 45-year-old Tamara Delgado, before shooting himself.

GRANITE BAY, Calif. (KTXL) — Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation in Granite Bay Sunday, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

No information was yet released on the number of victims, but deputies posted on Facebook just before 3 p.m. that: “There’s no danger to the community at this time, however, the area is closed for our investigation.”
