SACRAMENTO — Around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Natomas High School and Natomas Gateways Middle School were evacuated due to a gas-like odor in the area.
PG&E and fire crews were called to the scene to investigate the odor.
Authorities cleared the area and allowed students to return to class around 1:15 p.m.
