SOUTH LAKE TAHOE-

In addition to the 2 inches snowfall that dropped over the weekend, Heavenly Mountain Resort has begun their snowmaking process. The resort hopes to open their ski slopes on November 21st.

According to Heavenly Resort, their snowmaking process is the most powerful on the west coast, and under the right conditions, they can produce three-and-a-half feet of snow across one acre in an hour. They plan to expand their snowmaking capabilities even further this season.
