Video: Crews respond to overturned cattle truck in Newcastle

NEWCASTLE, Calif. (KTXL) — Crews are responding to an overturned cattle truck in Newcastle.

It was not immediately known what caused the crash.

Seventy-one cows were on the truck, according to the California Highway Patrol. First responders had to cut a hole in the trailer to let them out into a nearby field.

The CHP said the driver had minor injuries. It was unclear if any cattle were hurt.
