ROCKLIN —
A man accused of one of the two sexual battery cases in Rocklin is now behind bars. The Rocklin Police Department arrested Angelo Rodriguez Saturday.
Parole officers working on a hunch were led to Rodriguez. Based on the description given by the victims, authorities found him on Little Rock Road in Rocklin Saturday.
Joclynn July’s 10-year-old daughter is one of the young victims allegedly attacked by the suspect.
“My daughter had a big sigh of relief and feels a lot better,” she said.
The Rocklin Police Department’s work isn’t done. Investigators are trying to figure out whether or not the 31-year-old, who was on probation, is linked to a similar attack that happened Thursday at Twin Oaks Park.
Rodriguez is facing a laundry list of charges including sexual battery, lewd acts upon a child with force for sexual gratification, annoying or molesting a child, violation of probation and three unrelated felony warrants.
He’s being held at the Placer County Jail. His bail is set at $445,000.
