Investigators say a man crashed his car into a 7-Eleven store, then helped himself to a cup of coffee.

Around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Woodland Police were called to the 7-Eleven on E. Main Street.

Police say Dennis Cortopassi, 56, intentionally crashed his vehicle into the store’s window.

The clerk says the Cortopassi got out and poured himself a cup of coffee.

When the clerk called police, the clerk says Cortopassi knocked over items on shelves and threw his coffee.

When police arrived, Cortopassi was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail.

The clerk says Cortopassi goes to the 7-Eleven often and he has never had problems in the past.

He also said the man was talking funny and slurring his words indicating he may have been under the influence of some sort of substance.
