Man sent to trauma hospital after boat propeller injury on Sacramento River

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — The Sacramento Fire Department says a boat propeller injured a man on the Sacramento River Saturday afternoon. 

According to fire officials, the incident happened around 3:20 p.m. on the river bend close to Garden Highway and Power Line Road. 

Firefighters say the boat propeller caused “traumatic wounds.” 

The man is in stable condition at a trauma hospital.
