SACRAMENTO COUNTY—
Authorities are investigating the murder of a man near a Arden-Arcade gas station late Saturday night.
According to a media release from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, deputies showed up to a gas station near El Camino and Morse Avenues around 11:30 p.m. after getting a report about shots fired.
At the scene, deputies soon found that a man in his 30’s lying on the ground just outside of a store. Deputies say the man had a gunshot wound to his upper body.
In spite of life-saving efforts from the responding deputies, the man was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity has not been released by authorities as of Sunday.
