1 killed, multiple believed missing in South Sacramento fire

Officials say 30 people have been displaced and several pets died in the fire. Metro Fire says 18 mobiles and five residential structures were affected.

Sacramento fire officials said one person died in the fire.

The person’s identity has not been released.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — Several mobile homes in Sacramento are on fire, according to Metro Fire.

The fire caused evacuations in the area of Den and Citrus avenues.

Metro Fire said two people were taken to the hospital, and SMUD controlled downed power lines. There were reports of several people missing, Metro Fire said.

The fire was contained, Metro Fire said shortly before 3:30 p.m.

It was not immediately known what caused the fire.
