Multiple Churches Hit by Vandals in North Lake Tahoe Area

NORTH LAKE TAHOE —

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help identifying church vandals in the North Lake Tahoe area this week.

Multiple churches were vandalized between Sunday and Monday, including one in Kings Beach and one in Tahoe City.

One religious statue and exterior walls were spray painted with offensive statements, detectives said.

Several churches in Washoe County, Nevada, have also been vandalized recently.
