SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — The Sacramento Fire Department says three homes and a pool house in Tahoe Park were heavily damaged in a fire Friday.
Officials say they believe the fire started on the exterior of one of the structures and then spread to a wooden fence and “some other things.”
Fire crews responding to the fire had to deal with a downed power line. According to Fire Chief Gary Loesch, the power line was downed due to “direct flame contact.”
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but they say it quickly spread due to the wind. No injuries were reported.
This is a developing story.
