DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO —
New solar panel renderings for the Golden 1 Center have been released.
Officials say Downtown Sacramento’s soon-to-be arena will be as sustainable and energy efficient as possible. SPI, the Shanghai, China-based company with a U.S. headquarters in Roseville, will install the solar panels.
The panels covering the roof will told only about five degrees, so they will look the same as they do on the renderings.
The system output is designed to produce between 750-771 kilowatts.
