SACRAMENTO — A person was hit and killed by a freight train Tuesday afternoon along the tracks near Fruitridge and Power Inn Road.
The Sacramento Fire Department says the person was on foot. The person’s identity has not been reported.
At 5:24 p.m., police said traffic in the area was no longer impacted.
