Five men were arrested Tuesday in Placer County after sheriff's deputies say they found 12 stolen vehicles, including a bulldozer, near a drug manufacturing operation.

The five suspects were arrested on charges of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and other drug-related allegations. One of the men arrested was Floyd Rutherford, 42, who is a convicted felon and lives at the property.

Special operations detectives say the 12 stolen vehicles -- worth an estimated $800,000 -- on the property included a bulldozer, two Bobcat tractors and a Can-Am utility vehicle.

As detectives investigated the drug lab, they also located 30 pounds of marijuana, over 20 firearms, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

After recovering the vehicles, the authorities dismantled the drug lab.

Regional Auto Theft Task Force authorities began this investigation Saturday after a big-rig truck towing a bulldozer was stolen in Sacramento.
