The Placer County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo in Granite Bay last week.

The male suspect entered the bank on Aug. 13 about 6 p.m. He had a handgun and got away with money, the sheriff’s office said.

Witnesses said they saw a man matching the suspect’s description get into a light silver “boxy” vehicle parked on Wilcox Place, just north of the bank and CVS.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Placer County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 889-7830.
