Hundreds rallied on the west steps of the Capitol Monday to speak publicly against a handful of recent anti-Semitic occurrences in Sacramento.

“This is about the swastika at the AePi fraternity, and the swastika on the lawn of a River Park resident. This is unacceptable,” Rabbi Mona Alfi with Congregation B’Nai Israel told FOX40 Monday.

In addition to those rallying against antisemitism, anti-Israeli, pro-Palestinian protesters also showed up to the event.

“We don’t support antisemitism either. But, I do question why they all have Israeli flags with them” said Maggie Coulter, with the Sacramento Coalition for Palestinian rights. “We don’t support Israel.”

As of early Monday evening, the rally remained peaceful and no arrests were reported.
