Finding ways to beat the heat when triple-digit temperatures hit can be hard, but some Sacramento residents are turning to city parks to cool down.
Sacramento Parks and Recreation has multiple spray areas where families can enjoy some fun in the sun.
Cassie Brazil brought her two children, niece and nephew to play at the spray area at North Natomas Regional Park, and she said she prefers it over a community pool.
“It’s more baby friendly because I have four kids under three here right now, so it’s perfect for that because I can’t keep up with all of them.”
The spray areas are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
